I acknowledge that all people deserve to live in a safe and loving environment

I acknowledge violence and abuse in all forms are serious social problems that can be prevented and that everyone must work to end.

I acknowledge that preventing violence and abuse begins with me.

I promise to take a stand and never commit, condone, accept or stay silent about domestic or sexual violence.

I promise to challenge others to recognize that they can be powerful without making others powerless.

I commit to educate myself about the root causes of domestic/sexual violence and all forms of abuse.

I commit to end the silence about domestic/sexual violence and its effect on children, women, and men.

I commit my support to community organizations working to end all forms of violence and abuse.

I commit to treating all people I meet with dignity and respect.
